This is totally authentic Mexican food. Place is small but very quaint. Excellent service and the menu prices are tooo good to believe. Place is very historical you cannot go wrong if you love good homemade Mexican food. Very very casual. Only downfall is they are closed on Sundays.

If you’re Mexican you won’t like this place. It’s more for white people “Mexican” food. If you want an authentic Mexican restaurant don’t come here. No music, no Mexican feel about it at all. Food had no flavor. The only thing that was good was my sons cheese quesadilla. And the service was mediocre.

We have been dining at the 301 since 1968. Love Alma , who always has a smile , the food she serves has been our favorite forever . We had to move away and every time we return to the area 301 is our first stop. Alma never forgets a face .

Authentic, great tasting food served in a dining/bar room that gives you a 1950s feel. Appears to be family run and well known locals go to for great Mexican food. I had the carne asada plate which was outstanding. Not my first visit and I will definitely repeat.
